According to a November 2007 report in Money Magazine, 2008 could be a financially tough one to wrap our wallets around. This does not mean there will not be any good jobs for us to find. In fact, in any economy, there are hot jobs to be found. You could find the best job you have ever had this year, even if the economy is spiraling out of control.

In fact, if you have the necessary skills in information technology, 2008 could be the year for your hot job.

Corporations continue to expand this year, as they did last year. It seems as if this continued expanse will be going on for a long time. The IT departments of these expanding companies have to keep pace with these expansions more than ever before.

Network engineers, Web developers, data analysts, network engineers, software engineers and system administrators are needed for the next few years. These are positions that hundreds, if not thousands of large concerns need to keep growing. The IT field will be very competitive this year. Many individuals will be able to pick and chose like never before.

The Employment Development Department of CA, concurs with this assessment. Computer specialties will be in the top five hottest fields for this year.

Another spin off of this demand is the demand for more Wi-Fi specialists. With the demand for all of the wireless devices reaching an all time high, this market needs people trained in this wireless field.

Some hot jobs for 2008 might surprise most of us. Gaming dealers for casinos, home health aides and dental hygienists are in demand this year according to sources at EDD.

What should come as no surprise to anyone is the rising demand in the aging healthcare field. With so many people living longer and baby boomers beginning to slide into the 60s, careers in this field are hot and plentiful. The need for workers in long term healthcare is also on the rise. Spin-off careers for personal chefs and personal assistants for the elderly are also on the rise.

Some niche specialties to look into this year are Dexa Technologists, Ergonomic Specialists, Background Specialists, Traffic Analysts, Legal Videographers, Estate Sales Agents and Blog Editors. According to EDD, these are but a few of the hot jobs within niche markets that are in demand.

Also in demand for 2008 are many positions in the renewable energy field. Many different industries in this area of expertise are in need of professionals, across the board. The talent needed in this field will only continue to grow. Many fields within renewable energy.

Renewable energy consultants, project engineers, research analysts, service technicians and many more areas in the renewable energy field are hot for 2008 and will get hotter for every year here after.
