Hot Laptop Bags for Cheap!

Own a laptop or planning on getting one in the near future? If your answer is yes, then you will want to get a laptop bag. Don't think you need a laptop bag? Consider the very real possibility of dropping that $1,000 plus investment as you trip over the curb on your way into the coffee house. Or perhaps you will need to carry your laptop from inside the mall to your car parked in the next zip code and it's pouring rain. Unless blowing money on laptops all the time is some kind of hobby of yours, you will want a laptop bag. Check out these five for under $50.

5) MobileEdge MEPFC3 Small TechStyle Faux-Croc Portfolio Blue for 15 Inch Notebooks. This clamshell style case features a matching shoulder strap, a removable mesh pouch for cables, and an interior sleeve for files. This notebook case is very hip looking and might be thought of by the casual observer as a fashion statement. I found this laptop case at Compusa.com for $39.96.

4) Solo Silver 17 Inch Aluminum Attache Model AC100. Aluminum on the outside, this laptop case will make you look like a secret agent, as well as protect your laptop. It is padded on the inside with a removable pouch, accordion-style file, and two combination locks. This is major-league laptop protection. The case is heavy enough to serve as a weapon, should the need arise. It fits most laptops up to 17 inches. Go to newegg.com for this case, where it will set you back $44.99.

3) Isis Dei Rasta Roach 17 Inch. Isis Dei laptop cases are some of the coolest around. Some have pictures of skulls on them. Others have polka dots or the lich king. While you can't go wrong with any of their bags, I have selected the Rasta Roach because it is made of highly durable (and THC-free) hemp and reinforced inside with memory foam. The lining is a luxurious velour. This bag should last you a long time and will definitely pamper your laptop. Get it at bagsbuy.com for $32.45.

2) Skooba Design Skooba Skin 1617. Made of velvety soft micro suede and capable of holding most 16 or 17 inch laptops, the Skooba Skin case is protective enough to be used on its own, and yet soft enough to go in a briefcase or suitcase. When you want it to go in luggage, the top can be folded down to make it into a laptop sleeve, while if you're carrying it by itself, the top can be folded up to make it into a tote. It comes in three awesome colors: Lime (my personal favorite), plum, and tangerine. Find this laptop case at bagsbuy.com for $39.95.

1) Sumdex Butterfly Metro Laptop case. I have to throw in one for the women because rumor has it that not all computer nerds are guys. This case has a removable, matching cosmetic pouch, is made of water-resistant nylon and trimmed with leather, and has a back exterior pocket for accessories. It also has a beautiful butterfly pattern on the exterior and can hold most laptops up to 15.4 inches. It comes in three great colors: Black, olive, and tan. Look for this laptop case at koolbags.com, where it will run you $47.99.

Don't fool around with your laptop. They're not cheap and they likely hold a ton of information that it may be hard to retrieve if the laptop gets ruined. Be smart. Get a laptop case. Be frugal too by checking out one of these cases. And finally, be stylish. Unless you want to cause narcolepsy by dragging around your sleep-inducing, boring laptop bag, find one with a little pizazz.

I have a 19 inch laptop and it was almost impossible to find something. The girl at the computer store where I bought the laptop went to at least 10 store and looked online. She finally bought me an attache case and had someone make a liner for it in a beautiful print..it's outstanding and a one of a kind.
