Collierville, TN 38017
United States of America
Housing in Collierville has expanded with the tremendous development taking place here within the past two decades. Most of the properties are pretty upscale. However there some homes being offered that are smaller sizes that can be bought for under $200,000. The best properties are between $300,000 and $400,000, because they have lots of amenities, upscale decorating and fixtures. Going over $400,000, homes will tend to have more acreage and larger sq. footage.
Collierville's properties have escalated quite a bit in recent years, competing as they are with each other for the large influx of executives and upper management people relocating here. There are only a few properties in the 175k-225k range, but they're mostly older homes and not new construction. Most of the homes in the $175,000 to $275,000 range have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Almost all of the homes are brick but they may or may not have any hardwood. It really depends on the particular builder. I found a lovely two-story brick home listed for just $239,500 that has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, pantry, breakfast bar, fireplace and gameroom. It also has a patio and two-car garage. Acreage ranges from 14 Acre to 2 full Acres.
In the $350,000-$400,000 range there are a lot more homes to choose from. These mostly have four or more bedrooms, lots of amenities like fireplaces, decks and patios, landscaped yards, breakfast bars or rooms, and wood floors. Woodlawn Village is one of these communities. I found one home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, on John Ridge Road for $369,900. This is an executive home on about 13 Acre with marble, tile and wood floors. Amenities include a kitchen isle, pantry, breakfast area and many security features. It has over 4,000 sq. ft. of living space, however, so is priced pretty fairly reasonably priced at around $100 per foot. Expect most of the Collierville new homes to be priced about $110 to $135 per sq. ft.
