You can also go for a one length cut that is longer on one side than the other. While, over layering your hair may give you too server a look, layers are still the answer to add volume to baby fine hair without adding a great deal of product. The problem with gels, sprays, and mousse overly used in the summer months is the humidity in the air will turn it to gook and it will make your hair flat and not full. If you want to soften a harsher straight cut, go for wisps and try some back combing.
Fringe cuts can add piazza to flat hair without having to perm or curl iron to give you a sexy look. Want to soften your sharp features? Go for a wispy fringe. Want to draw attention toward your eyes? Try choppy and bold fringe over your ears and towards your face.
Layers as said before are the best friend of girls with baby fine hair. Want some uplift on top and in the back. Strategically placed layers that blend but uplift are the answer. Add a body wave with layers for a free and natural tousled look.
Many of these styles can be wash and wear if you add a little gel while the style is wet and pulled out with your fingers. When the gelled style dries simply comb the style lightly to get rid of the wet look and use a finishing spray. There is no need to break out the blow dryer.
Solid crops are not in this summer, but short cuts with lots of texture and free flowing lines. Girls who do not want to give up length, can get a new bold look by adding fringed bangs to their longer locks. Rolls can also help give you that cropped look without having to sacrifice hair length.
Don't forget to change your hair routine in the summer. Chlorine from pools required special shampoos to be removed. If you don't want to change your shampoo put a little light conditioner in your hair to help slow the absorption of chlorine when swimming in pools. Avoid heavy or oily conditioners as the residue will float in the water and the other swimmers will not appreciate that. If you live in a humid climate you still need a conditioner, because sun, salt water, and wind still will take a toll on your hair.
