Hot and Sweaty? Head To Deep River Waterpark, In Crown Point, Indiana
Get Ready for Some Fun in the Sun!
Crown Point, IN 46307
United States of America
After being around for twelve years, the park contains nine slides, a wavepool, a children's area, a playground area known as the "Courthouse" (because it looks like the one in downtown Crown Point), two lazy rivers, various food and beverage concessions, and other activities.
Admission to the park during May and June is $15.95 for adults, $6.95 for those under 46 inches, free for one year and under, and $7.95 for spectator passes (which requires the person does not swim or get wet within the park at all). After two p.m., the prices are reduced to $13.95 for adults and $5.95 for under 46 inches. All other prices remain the same. Indiana residents may get $2.00 off with proof of residency such as a driver's license.
In July and August, admission is $18.95 for adults, $7.95 for those under 46 inches, free for one years and under, and $7.95 for spectator passes. After two p.m., the prices are reduced to $16.95 for adults and $6.95 for those under 46 inches. All other prices remain the same, and Indiana residents can still get $2.00 off.
On Tuesdays, the park hosts "Tubin' Tuesdays" where the park is open until 9 pm. The prices are the same as the admission prices for July and August, but if you arrive after 5 pm, it is only $9.95 for adults and $5.00 for those under 46 inches.
Season Passes are available for those who are willing to pay the price. For 2007, the first pass costs $95.00, and for each additional it is $65.00. If you were a 2006 pass holder, it is $80.00 for the first and $55.00 for each additional.
Group rates and birthday party packages are available. The park can also be rented out for a private party during after hours. Prices can be found on their website, www.deepriverwaterpark.com , or by calling 1-219-947-7850.
The park is open from the Friday before Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. It is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Coolers are allowed inside the park, but no glass, alcohol, grills, or knives are permitted.
