Vintage jackets are on the rise. There are a variety of ways to this item and they can be worn with just about anything. The most catching styles of jackets will be cropped, short sleeved, and belted. They look great with a favorite pair of jeans and some can even be worn around the office. Bright colors and patterns can be played up with jewelry and gotta have shoes. Avoid mixing and matching too many patterns at once though, there is nothing stylish about looking like a hot mess!
Invest in a good pair of boots, maybe two. Ankle boots and thigh high boots are all the rage in women's fall fashion. Ankle boots look great when paired with leggings or skinny jeans. If you really want to spice it up, buy the ones with details. Thigh high boots don't work as well with jeans and should be reserved for the seasons minis and sweater dresses. A true fashionista can wear them with buckles and/or a wedge sole.
Women's accessories for this fall can not be emphasized enough. The brooch and chunky bangles can help exaggerate the look you are trying to achieve. The neat thing about these trendy pieces is that they are very versatile and come in such a variety. It's easy to make one particular brooch or bangle your own signature style. Brooches are most often worn on a jacket, but something tells me that we will be seeing a lot of these on purses, sweaters, you name it. Make the look your own.
There are a couple of unique types of dresses that have been surfacing all over the catwalk for fall. Think puffy and belted. Several of these dresses are similar to the shirt or sweater dresses, with their own distinct flair. Puffy cap sleeves with small high waisted belts are in. Although many of these dresses are short, they are not micro mini short and will suit many different body types. To make the look even more unique, some have full collars and are textured. These dresses look great with a jacket.
Dresses not your style? You won't be left behind, slouchy pants have also made a comeback. Think of your favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, only more comfy. Unlike your moms slouchy pants, these look hot! Wear them high waisted, with or without a belt.
All of these looks are sure to have you in style this fall. The best part is, many are relatively inexpensive. J C Penney carries many of these fall fashion finds as well as other retailers. However, if you want the look for less, you can purchase many of these fashion trends at many local thrift shops.
