Located on the central Real Calle del Medio, this colonial mansion has 22 large guest rooms. Each room is fully equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, and access to the hotel's swimming pool.

The Hotel La Casona (Carrera 2A No. 18-58, (575) 685-5307) is a less expensive alternative that still lies in the heart of old town Mompox. It keeps with the area's colonial mansion theme and offers its guests rooms for a more reasonable price. The rooms are serviceable, but may be a bit dark and in need of modernization. The Hotel is conveniently located only one block away from the Plaza Bolivar.
Mompox, Colombia hotel accommodations: La Casa Amarilla
For hostel-style accommodations, try La Casa Amarilla (Cra 1 No 13-59, (301) 362-7065). There are two shared dormitory rooms and two private guest rooms that can be rented for an additional fee. Backpackers and casual visitors to Mompox can enjoy sharing stories with their fellow travelers over a beer in the on-site kisokos. The hostel itself sits on the Magdalena River, offering visitors an unparalleled view of the water below.

If you are looking for a budget-priced hotel in Mompox, the Hotel Villa de Mompox (Calle Real del Medio No. 14-108, (575) 685-5208) is your best bet. This hotel is located along the Real Calle del Medio, but at the other end of town from the aforementioned luxury hotels. Despite the lower prices, every guest room is fully-equipped with air conditioning or cooling fans.
