If you are looking for a place to stay that wont break your budget, but still will allow you to have a great experience, try the Days Inn. Conveniently located by the Crossroads shopping mall off of Hwy's 94 and Hwy 15, you are close to numerous restaurants and great entertainment. There is an Enterprise Rent a Car location on the corner, another bonus to those who are visiting. The price ranges from $89.99 a night to $109 per night before taxes. The price varies on the day of the week and what room that you choose, but you get a great room at a great value. The swimming pool has a water slide, and there is also a whirlpool and kiddie pool for the younger guests.
Across the street from the Days Inn is the Holiday Inn. While this hotel may cost a bit more, there are a lot of amenities that is has to offer. The rates vary from $89.95-$144.95 during the week to $109.95-$214.95 on the weekends. The family suite is the largest of all rooms and is located very close to the pool area and entertainment area. The Holiday Inn has a bar called Legends, which has live music on various nights of the week. There are many different pool areas, a volleyball court and basketball court for you to enjoy. This hotel is also located near a huge shopping and eating district, with plenty to see and do while staying in the area. Holiday Inn offers a large conference center that can host any event, including weddings, for any amount of guests.
The Comfort Inn is located on the corners of HWY 15 and 2nd Avenue. The rooms are moderately priced, and they offer a free continental breakfast in the mornings for all guests. They have a smaller size pool and whirlpool. Comfort Inn offers a continental breakfast in the morning to all of its guests. I would recommend this hotel for its rooms, which are both nice and comfortable.
Downtown St. Cloud is home to great shopping and eating, along with being conveniently located near the convention center, which hosts hundreds of events a year, in various sizes. If you were planning on staying in the downtown area, the first place I would look at would be the Kelly Inn.
The Kelly Inn in located right off of Division Street, next to the convention center. It is attached to the Green Mill Restaurant, who also is the caterer to all events held at the Kelly Inn. There is a pathway that leads directly into the convention center, so you will not have to be exposed to the elements to go to any event in that building. The rooms are wonderfully priced, and very well maintained. My personal pick would be the Jacuzzi Suite that faces the Mississippi. They just finished doing some remodeling so there is a new tower with many more rooms in it. Perfect for weddings, reunions, conferences and relaxing. They offer a pool and exercise room.
Across the street is the Radisson Hotel. In St. Cloud this is the most expensive hotel, however you are in the heart of all the action and convenient to everything. Across from the hotel is the bar district, which can get very busy on the weekends. They have amazing rooms and the building is always is top condition. The staff is always available to help you with anything that you may need and can arrange for anything additional that you may require on the stay. Prices begin in the low $100's and can get as high as $250 per night depending on the day of the week and the type room you require.
The east side of St. Cloud boasts the Country Inn and Suites. Located right off of HWY 10, the rooms run from $99-$169 per night, depending on what type room you get as well as the day of the week. They also offer specials for those who choose to stay longer, and for wedding blocks. Every room has a microwave and refrigerator in it, and there is a pool and whirlpool in the building as well. They are located right next door to a Taco Bell, Wendy's and McDonalds. The staff at the Country Inn and Suites is both courteous and helpful, and try to make every stay for the guests a wonderful occasion.
St. Cloud has hotel accommodations that can fit any budget, any event, and any group size. These are just a few. Enjoy your stay in St. Cloud!
