Hotel Guide to Accra, Ghana

Stormy Brooke Swain
Accra, Ghana is a wonderful place to visit, and if you stay in a hotel you won't be disappointed. The lodging in Accra is upscale and usually has a price tag to go with it, but is well worth the payment. The average price for one night in a hotel in Accra is around $150 to $300 depending on the hotel chosen and time of year. A lot of times hotels in Accra will have later check-in times than most places, so be sure to reserve a hotel with early check-in times or call and ask for an earlier time that you can arrive. If a hotel won't work with your schedule, be sure they offer luggage storage, so that you can explore while waiting for your room.

I stayed at a wonderful guesthouse in Accra, close to Kotoka International Airport. Private rooms with bath, very clean, friendly and safe, and they had internet access and airport pickup.
