The first hotel in which I reviewed is The Michelangelo Hotel. This four-star-hotel is outdone in an Italian elegance, which would only be worthy of the great Michelangelo. When guests enter this hotel they are greeted by a long marble foyer lined with original French paintings, fresh flowers, and mirrors, which with lead to the lobby, which as a hanging crystal changelier. This hotel was first built in 1927 at the Taft Hotel, the Michelangelo still displays its original light fixtures and brass moldings. This hotel's motto is, "elegance without attitude." And it really is true. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a complimentary weekend limousine service to Wall Street. Guests can also enjoy complimentary use of the hotel's twenty-four-hour fitness center, and its twice-daily housekeeping service with Baci Perugina chocolates at turndown. This hotel has 178 guestrooms on floors 3 through 7 of the hotel building. Some of the amenities every guestroom has includes two televisions, a Bose stereo/CD player, and a fax/printer/copier machine. There is also high-speed Internet access available for a daily surcharge.
The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Westin New York Times Square. This four-star-hotel rests within a 45-story tower overlooking Times Square. This hotel was first opened in 2002, and since then has become an instant New York landmark. Some of the amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a 2,400-square-foot full-service health spa. The spa also includes a Hudson River-view fitness center which contains cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights - TIP: If you are a guest staying in the Executive Club rooms, you get complimentary access to the fitness facility. There is also a business center, which contains three computers, with high-speed Internet access for a surcharge, and complimentary wireless Internet access available in the lobby and in all public areas. This hotel has 863 guestrooms in its 45-stories. All of the guestrooms includes large desks with chairs, two-line speakerphones, high-speed Internet access, which is available for a surcharge. Executive Club room guests receive complimentary bottled water, complimentary access to the fitness center, and access to the exclusive Club Lounge. The lounge includes a cash bar and complimentary wireless Internet access.
And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the four-star Le Parker Meridien New York. This hotel has central park views, with a rooftop swimming pool and sundeck. Some of the hotels amenities includes the city's best breakfast, according the New York Magazine, which is at Norma's. There is a penthouse indoor lap pool and a rooftop summertime sundeck, both of which provide glorious views of Central Park. There is a 15,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, which offer classes such as yoga, Pilates, and spinning, seven days a week. This hotel has 730 guestrooms and suites in its 42-story building. All rooms comes with desks with chairs and high-speed Internet connections for a surcharge. There are also 32-inch televisions with pay movies and video games. Other amenities include a CD player/radio, umbrellas, and The New York Times delivered six days a week.
