So you've found yourself in New Orleans, Louisiana? Well, first off, this city has such an eclectic history, that it makes this destination one of millions of people annually. In recent years, this city has undergone major disasters, but throughout all of it, the town has remained strong and elegant. With its history dating back to 1718 when the city was founded by the French Mississippi Company. Throughout the centuries, this city has been home to some of the greatest musicians and artists. Perhaps this is because of its dreamlike surroundings. Well, through the years many great hotels have come and gone, but several of them have stayed and have really made their mark in the hotel industry. I have researched and reviewed the top three of these hotels for future guests consideration. So sit back, and enjoy yourself while reading about great hotels in the Big Easy.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Windsor Court Hotel. This five-star-hotel is perfect for those guests who are wanting to experience the feel of old-world New Orleans, but with modern amenities. When guests first walk through this hotel, they pass through an absolutely beautiful lobby with fine arts, sculptures, marble floors, live plants, and English manor-house furnishings. This hotel is home to both business and leisure travelers. If it is location you are wanting, than this hotel has that for you, seeing that it is right on the corner of the French Quarter, but is not in the middle of the busy action that this location is known for, allowing full peace and quite for its guests. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a video library, a staffed business center, room service, a fitness center, heated swimming pool, and restaraunts - both fine-dining and casual. This twenty-three-story hotel has 324 guestrooms and suites. Some of the various in-room amenities includes complimentary high-speed Internet access, minibars, three multi-line phones, premium bedding, and premium TV channels. This hotel is absolutely perfect for any an all travelers.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Le Pavillon Hotel. This four-and-a-half-star hotel is perfect for those wanting to experience the old-world European side if New Orleans. The Le Pavillon was first constructed in 1907 being outfitted in Parisian woodwork, Italian marbling, and Czech crystal chandeliers. The location of this hotel is just as perfect as its looks; being situation right on the outskirts of the French Quarter, it allows its guests walking distance to all the action that happens on these streets, and yet is far enough to make guests feel as if they are in a European hotel far from the hustle and bustle that is life. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a thirty-foot swimming pool and spa tub, which is located on the rooftop of this hotel. There is also a complimentary hot chocolate and peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches served nightly in the lobby. This ten-story hotel has 226 guestrooms, all of which are nonsmoking. Some of the various in-room amenities includes complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access, hair dryers, cable TV, and minibars. Also, by request, guests can have in-room fax machines and VCRs.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Loews New Orleans Hotel. This four-and-a-half-star hotel rests directly across from Harrah's Casino and is also located in the cities business district. Which makes this hotel perfect for those business travelers who are wanting to relax and have some fun at the casino after a hard days work. This hotel is only three blocks from the convention center, and is perfect for convention goers. Also, the Loews New Orleans is positioned only three blocks from the French Quarter. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes an indoor lap pool and spa tub on the eighth floor, and a fitness center that is over sixteen-hundred-square-feet. And in the lobby there is high-speed wireless Internet access available for all guests for a surcharge. This hotel has 285 guestrooms in its twenty-one-story frame. All rooms feature views of the Mississippi River and all have ten-foot ceilings. Actually, I agree that the Windsor & La Pavilion are great hotels, but the Lowes Hotel has just recently been built and isn't nearly as established as the other two. The only thing that annoys me about the article is the obvious "hotel jargon" and the bad grammar and spelling, "multi-linen phones".

Okay, by researched do you mean you did a google search. I guarantee that these would not be the top hotels that a local would name.
