San Francisco has always been a tourist spot and my family and I have had our share of many visits to this wonderful town. It really didn't help that we lived about an hour away from the city. On one of our many stays in San Francisco, my parents decided to reserve a room for the weekend at the Best Western Civic Center Inn. The hotel was conveniently located to almost all the museums, shopping, and other attractions San Francisco has to offer. Well all I can say is that we had a great weekend and our stay with the hotel was one of the reasons why.

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was very pleasant. She checked us in quickly and gave us information about the town and even told us places worth visiting. The hotel offered complimentary continental breakfast buffet, which we never got to try. They also had an outdoor heated pool and a laundry room for the guests.

My parent's reserved two rooms, one superior and one deluxe. The superior rooms comes with either a king, queen, or two doubles and the deluxe comes with a queen and a sofa bed. My parents stayed at the deluxe room and the rest of us at the superior room with two doubles. The rooms were very tidy. The linens were clean and the bed was okay. It wasn't the most comfortable bed in the world but you can say that about most of the hotels these days.

Like I mentioned above, the hotel's location was great! It's only a few blocks away frp, the Moscone Convention Center and the Concourse Exhibition Center. San Francisco Museum of Art and Asian Art Museum were only just a few blocks as well. Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Ghirardelli Square is also a few miles away. LIke I said, the location is great. You are able to visit all these places without having to go too far away from the hotel.

Of course, the main attraction of San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bride and the Golden Gate Park, which isn't too far away either. You can also go to Pier 39 and catch a ferry to go to Alcatraz.

To the women, shopping is always great! My mom and I always have a blast when we visit San Francisco. The Union Square, San Francisco Center, and the Embarcadero Center were close to the hotel so we did a lot of shopping that whole weekend.

Our stay with the hotel was great. There were noise issues at first but they did take care of it once we called the front desk. It wasn't too expensive either so I do recomment this hotel to budget travelers. It is a great place to relax after a long day of adventure in San Francisco.
