Hotel Review: Best Western at Washington, DC

I reached this hotel at night 9 o'clock and left the hotel next day morning 9 o'clock. The hotel is well located and surrounded with very good atmosphere. This is little far away from city, but the place is excellent. I choose this hotel because it is mid way between Washington and Hershey Chocolate World. I have planned to visit Hershey Chocolate World on next day morning after spending the day in Washington DC.

Service - The front desk service was very good. They greeted me at the first sight and paid attention to my words carefully and verified the reservation. Within one or two minutes they handed over the electronic keys of the room I reserved for. They also offered a free breakfast for next day morning. The disadvantage what I saw in this hotel is they don't have elevator to go to second floor. It is sometimes very difficult to climb the stairs with luggage and stroller. The hotel all rooms are in second floor. Someone from the hotel service guy helped us to carry our luggage.

Cleanliness - The room was very clean. Room is little small but it is fine for one night. The bathroom was excellent and very clean. Room was decorated with adequate lights and furniture.

Rooms - The room was very clean and well decorated. The room was equipped with refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker and TV. As we were having baby with us, we required refrigerator and microwave. I really loved this hotel due to its price and service provided during that day. Air conditioning system of our room was also very good. In compare to Holiday Inn hotel the air conditioning system was too good. The room was non-smoking and with two king size bed. They also provided free crib for my baby.

Location - The hotel is little outside of Washington DC. Hotel doesn't provide any shuttle to Washington DC airport or Washington DC rail station. It will be little difficult to reach the hotel from airport or rail station if you don't have your own car. We had our own car so we didn't find it much difficult to reach here. The added advantage is the hotel is on the way to Hershey Chocolate World from Washington DC. We knew that hotel was little far from Washington. If you want to stay inside Washington it will be little costly.

Front Desk - The hotel front desk service was very good. They greet at the first sight. At any time whenever I asked for help they showed their interest to help me. During check out I forgot to return the electronic keys of the room. I was far away from hotel that time and called them regarding the keys. They assured me that it won't be any problem. The guest space near front desk is little small. It can hardly accommodate five people at any time. When we first reached at the hotel my family didn't get little space to sit, but the total time taken by the front desk was just two minutes.

Food - The hotel doesn't have any restaurant or. The hotel provides free continental breakfast. The space is little far from town, so you don't have much option for food outside. We knew the situation and we had our dinner at Washington.
