The location of the hotel is great. You are close to shopping and many forms of entertainment. Downtown San Diego is also just a couple of miles away. San Diego Zoo is also closeby and so is Seaworld.
There's a spa located in the hotel called the Coronado Island Marriott Spa. Appointments are required and we did make an appointment for the both of us. They offer body scrub, body wrap, facial treatments, fitness counseling, foot bath, lap pool, manicures/pedicure, massages, paraffin hand treatments, therapy baths, and waxing. They also have other heated pools and whirlpool in the hotel, other than the one in the spa, where you can relax. They also have a fitness center located in the hotel.

Our experience with this hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and are always there to help. The room was very neat and clean and we didn't have any problems while staying at this hotel. There was no noise issues whatsoever. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were just luxurious. That weekend was one of the best weekends I've spent with my husband, thanks to the great service Marriott has given us. I do recommend this hotel to those who are willing to pay the extra money. It isn't the cheapest in the area but I have to say that it is worth every penny. It is a great place to spend a nice weekend with your loved one.
