Hotel Review: Courtyard Laguna Hills / Irvine Spectrum / Orange County

The day my husband came home from his third deployment, I decided to do something romantic. So I reserved a room at the Courtyard by Marriott in Laguna Hills, CA. It was the perfect place since it's close to places like the Irvine Spectrum and Laguna Beach. I had someone from the hotel put rose petals on the bed and candles all over the room. I have to say that it was a great homecoming for the both of us.

The Courtyard by Marriott in Laguna Hills is nicely located. It is close to the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 405. It is minutes from the Irvine Spectrum, where there's a lot of places to go shopping. There's also restaurants there and a theater. The hotel is also close to the outdoor concert venue Verizon Amphitheater and Wild Rivers Water Park. Laguna Beach is only a few minutes away as well and so is the Dana Point Harbor. Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, and the Angel Staduim are close-by as well. So like I said, the location is nice. You are able to enjoy Orange County the way it should be enjoyed.

Checking in and out of the hotel was very fast as well. The receptionists were very pleasant and you know that they are willing to help. They gave us information about the hotel and places we should visit while we were in town. The hotel has a pool and spa located on the ground floor. They also have high speed internet available for the guests as well. There's also coffee in the lobby all day and safe deposit boxes in the front desk for your valuable things. On-site laundry or valey dry cleaning is also available for the guests of the hotel.

The room was very nice and clean and there were no noise issues whatsoever during our stay at the hotel. It was actually nice that they were able to put rose petals and candles in the hotel room for me. That was such a big plus that they went out of their way to do that.

Like I said, our stay was very nice and we didn't have any problems whatsoever with the hotel and their staff.
