Hotel Review: Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown San Francisco

My husband and I have always stayed at Marriott hotels just because we've had great experiences staying in their hotels. I don't recall a time where we had any major problems with any Marriott hotels we've stayed at in the past. So the last time we visited San Francisco, we reserved a room at the Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown San Francisco. The location of the hotel is great! This hotel is just blocks from MOMA, the Moscone Center, and the Embarcadero. The South of Market district or SoMa district is also closeby. Berkeley and Oakland is about ten (10) miles away and Napa Valley is about thirty-six (36) miles away from this hotel.

The hotel has eighteeen (18) floors, three hundred and seventy-four (374) rooms, and thirty-one (31) suites. Starbucks and Whispers Bar and Grill are conveniently located right in the lobby. For breakfast, you can go to Jasmine's Restaurant. The hotel offers valet parking, which is a great plus, especially in San Francisco where it's very hard to find parking. They also offer room service, event catering, indoor pool, and complete fitness room. There's also an on-site laundry, valet dry cleaning, safety deposit boxes in the front desk for your valuable things, and an ATM in the lobby.

Our stay with the hotel was very pleasant. Our check in was fast and the receptionist was very nice. She gave us all the information we needed and more about the hotel. Our check out was fast and pleasant as well. The hotel isn't the cheapest but it isn't the most expensive in the area either. It was money well spent for a great weekend in San Francisco with my husband. I recomment this hotel for anyone planning on visiting San Francisco or the cities nearby.
