Hotel Review: Courtyard in Midtown Sacramento

I have always loved staying at Marriott hotels. I've always had a great experience with them. Even at those ones when I had noise issues, they took care of it right away. I guess that's why my family and I always prefer Marriott hotels in place of others. The Courtyard in Midtown Sacramento is one of these hotels. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help. The service is one of the main things when it comes to choosing the right hotel. If you aren't being treated nicely by the staff from the beginning, then your whole experience will only reflect on that.

The hotel is located at the UC Davis Medical Center and is only a couple of miles away from Downtown Sacramento where you can do some shopping, dining, and entertainment. The hotel offers free high speed and wireless internet for its guests. There's a restaurant and lounge conveniently located at the hotel. They also have a cafe called that brews Starbucks coffee, for those coffee lovers like myself. The hotel also has an on-site laundry facility and a fitness center. You can also relax at the outdoor pool and spa if you want.

The room was, as always, very nice and clean. There are four (4) different types of rooms you can choose from, the King, Queen, Studio, and One (1) bedroom. I chose the king sized room and it had a refrigerator and microwave and high speen internet as well. The bed was very comfortable and my stay was just very nice. The Studio comes with a full kitchen and dining area, which I really didn't need since I only stayed at the hotel for one night.

Like I mentioned, my stay with the hotel was very great. Even though it was only one night, it was one of the most comfortable nights I've had. The staff of this hotel were very professional and helpful. They gave me all the information that I needed once I checked in and they were very pleasant on my check out as well. I didn't have any troubles at all.

I recommend this hotel to those wanting to visit Sacramento. This is a great place to stay at. It's not far at all from the Sacramento International Airport and Downtown Sacramento. And if you're willing to drive about forty-five (45) minutes, you'll be able to visit and enjoy Napa Valley.
