The Hampton Inn hotel is about five minutes away from the University which also makes it an ideal hotel to stay at during the trip. The Hampton Inn has very nice rooms that are clean and have almost every amenity that guests can ask for.
Bathrooms are stocked with towels, shampoo soap and blow dryers. The beds are always made and are clean. There is a great deal of closet space and the televisions in the rooms are pretty big.
The Hampton Inn Hotel also has many luxuries that you wouldn't normally expect from a regular hotel like an exercise room that has several treadmills and exercise machines. There are also vending machines throughout the hotel so that you can grab junk food or a soda for that mid night craving.
The service at the Hampton Inn hotel is also very good. In order to book a hotel room, all you need to do is pick up the phone. You can pay for your room when you get there. The people at the desk are friendly and will get you anything you need. If you run out of towels, you can call down to the main desk and they will send room service up to your room to get you more towels or shampoo or whatever you need free of charge. There are also booklets and pamphlets in the room from which you can order room service or order food from the surrounding restaurants.
As for parking, that won't be much of a problem at the Hampton Inn Hotel. There are two big parking lots for customers and there is also a hotel entrance driveway in which you can briefly leave your car parked to unload your belongings.
If you are looking to visit the Binghamton University campus, I would strongly recommending booking a room at the Hampton Inn Hotel.
