Hotel Review: Hotel One - Toluca Mexico

During our recent week long visit to Toluca, Mexico, my husband and I stayed at the Toluca Hotel One and were very pleased with the accommodations. The amenities and the location were very convenient and the price for our stay was well within our budget.

Toluca Hotel One is located only three minutes away from the Toluca airport and is situated on Blvd. Miguel Alemán. From this location you will be nearby the most important industrial parks in Toluca. If you are planning a trip to Toluca for business this might be the perfect location for you to secure accommodations for your stay.

Toluca Hotel One Amenities

The hotel offers 126 rooms with a view of the city lights on the hillside at night. A very beautiful panorama of fields and mountains dotted with trees was our view from the third floor. The hotel offers superior twin or superior queen rooms. Our superior queen room was perfect. The bed was just shy of a king size. The decoration was crisp, clean and modern. There was plenty of desk space for working. Also a flat screen television with a few English speaking channels was a pleasant respite from a busy day. The bathroom was compact but had a large tiled shower.

The hotel offers free continental breakfast. The breakfast fare included fruit, muffins, yogurts and cereals. They also offer hot items such as eggs, toast and beans with cheese. The coffee was always fresh and hot tea was available too.

Hotel One Toluca provides free wireless internet. We were able to have excellent wireless internet connection in our room and also in the public foyer area downstairs. There is also a small meeting room next to the front desk for quick conferences.

The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport.

Toluca Hotel One is a smoke free environment. The property is super clean and well maintained. While we were staying we needed to do some laundry. They offer dry cleaning services as well as a washer and dryer on the premises for guest use. You will need to provide your own laundry supplies.

I felt that for the quality of the rooms and the exceptional service, along with the free internet and breakfast that Hotel One Toluca offered the best value for our accommodation budget.

Negative Comment

The only negative point I have is the temperature of the room was hard to regulate. I am not sure but I believe the front desk has the power to control your thermostat. When we would turn the thermostat up or down there was no change in the temperature, but when we called the front desk to complain, magically the room became the temperature we desired!
