Hotel Review: Hotel Ramada at Niagara

Jitu
I spent one night in this hotel on 3rd July. The hotel is very near to Niagara Falls. The hotel is just fine to stay one night. I didn't find any great about this hotel except the location. As a whole the hotel looks like very old and no maintenance done in near past. I will surely not recommend this hotel to any one except someone wants to stay just for one night while visiting Niagara. I took this hotel because of its price. I was looking for something which is near to Niagara Falls. The price is real cheap, but hotel is not that great at all. I wanted to stay near to Niagara Falls and wanted to roam around Niagara at night. I didn't have my car with me during this tour. In that respect this hotel might be a good option to stay. You might find lots of other good hotels like Quality Inn, Sheraton etc. near to Niagara Falls. Those hotels will be costly and need early enough reservation.

Service - The front desk service was good. They greeted me at the first sight and paid appropriate attention to my words and verified the reservation. They handed over the keys very promptly. The hotel is historic eleven story building. They gave us on seventh floor. Hotel has elevator. So we didn't much difficulty to reach to our rooms.

Cleanliness - The room was not so clean. The room was very small. We asked for two beds room. The bathroom was the worst ever I seen. It was sticky and dirty. I could not able to take bath in that bathroom. The outside lobby was also not very clean. I found only front desk area was clean.

Rooms - The room was not so clean. Room was having only TV and coffee maker. There was no refrigerator or microwave. The Air Conditioning system was not working properly. The hotel is centrally cooled, so it had only one air ventilator for air conditioner. I failed to adjust the room temperature of our room. Total air conditioning system was a bad and very old. None of the lights of the room except one was working that day. The bathroom was the worst ever I seen in my life. There was not any bath tub. Instead of bath tub they provided walk-in shower. The walk-in shower was made in such a way that water was coming out of bathroom floor while shower is on. The floor of the walk-in shower was too dirty. Later we found yet another major problem. For our room we were getting only hot water, there was no supply of cold water. It is very difficult to take shower or wash your face or hands with hot streaming water. I reported that to front desk and they provided another room in order to use the bathroom of that room. We found very difficult to use the bathroom of our room during our stay in this hotel.

Location - The hotel is nicely located and very near to Niagara Falls and it is just one block from Horseshoe Falls and one block from Seneca Niagara Casino. Niagara Falls is just five minutes walk from hotel. All Niagara attraction such as Goat Island, Made of the Mist, Niagara Convention Civic Center, Cave of the Winds, Rainbow Helicopter Rides, and Niagara Reservation Park are very near to this hotel. Moreover you can see the Niagara Falls and Canada side from your room. We were on seventh floor and we got very good scenic view of Niagara Falls from our hotel room. There are lots hotels and restaurants near to this hotel. There is an Indian restaurant at the first floor of this hotel. We had dinner and next day breakfast from this Indian restaurant. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal at this Indian restaurant. The good thing is hotel has free parking.
