Every room at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, just south of downtown San Diego, has a natural view. No concrete jungles can be found here; each room features a view of the bay, marina, pool, or garden.

This luxurious hotel is part of the national Loews chain, but doesn't have a chain feel to it. Not only is it one of the nicest hotels in the country, it welcomes pets and pampers them as well as their human family members. In-room massages for both dogs and people are offered, as well as dog treats and water. There are also special offerings for Fido or Fifi on the hotel's already-extensive room service menu.

Each room is spacious, filled with quality teas, bedding, and toiletries, and offers a widescreen television and keyed mini-bar. The bathrooms are almost as large as some other chains' hotel room, with a separate bathtub and shower. For those without the time or desire to leave the site, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, beaches, and other amenities to explore at Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
