When visiting Logan ,Ohio in the Hocking Hills you will find several motels, hotels, campgrounds and cabin rentals to choose from. In this review I will focus on the city of Logan's hotels.

Conveniently located on Lake Logan Road off of route 33 you will find the Holiday Inn Express . The Holiday Inn Express is a large hotel for Logan. The hotel offers an indoor pool, a hot tub and exercise facility. The rooms are affordable priced at less than one hundred dollars a night. The rooms at the Holiday Inn Express are handsomely decorated and clean. The staff is quite helpful and pleasant. The Holiday Inn Express is perfect for a vacation with your family or a romantic getaway or business trip. An added bonus to staying at the Holiday Inn Express is the warm cinnamon rolls they provide for guests.

Nearby you will find Lake Logan where you can fish, swim and enjoy a wide variety of boating. Complete with reasonably priced boat rentals. There is a bird sanctuary on the lake open to the public. This is a lovely serene spot for viewing local birds. Extremely close by to The Holiday Inn Express you will find delicious BBQ at The Millstone and very good Mexican cuisine at La Cascada. Just a short drive away is The area's Visitors Center .Here you can pick up maps and brochures for area attractions and the helpful staff is available for any questions you might have.

The Holiday Inn Express is a lovely hotel built within the last few years. I enjoyed my stay here and I will stay again. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express to anyone visiting the beautiful Hocking Hills or just passing through who is looking for more luxurious accommodations than you would find at a motel.

The Baymont is Logan's other hotel. The Baymont was formerly known as The Amerihost Inn. It is still the same terrific hotel. Located in beautiful Rempel's Grove in Logan. This area offers many great activities within walking distance. There is a small petting zoo, an ice cream shop, a fabulous Antique Mall , The Old Dutch restaurant, Arby's, canoing, adventure golf , and a Glassware Outlet store.

Most of what Logan has to offer is a short drive from the Baymont. You can visit all of the lovely stores in down town Logan, or take a scenic drive out 664 South and visit one of our local caves. If you stay at the Baymont on a Saturday, skip the continental breakfast Sunday morning and walk over to the American Legion for a great breakfast priced at less than five dollars.

The Baymont is a lovely hotel that offers an indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are nice and very clean. The Baymont is ideal for a business trip, vacation with your family or an impromptu romantic night with your sweetie. The rooms are priced at under one hundred dollars a night . This is a great hotel, a good value. I enjoyed my stay here tremendously. I stayed on Valentine's day and took advantage of their romantic valentines day package.

I would recommend the Baymont without hesitation.
