Hotspots in Paris on New Years Eve 2007

Looking for places to party in Paris on New Year's Eve Here is a list of shows, clubs and other attractions on Paris on New Years Eve 2008.

1) Fireworks Show at the Champs Elysees- Children are welcome and admission is free. Festivities will start around 9:00pm on December 31, 2007. From here you will have a good view of the Eiffel Tower which put on a magnificent light sow at midnight.

2) Another fireworks show takes place at Sacre Coeur Cathedral Plaza in Montmartre- this site gives you a hilltop view of the entire Paris skyline. You can catch all the fireworks shows from this vantage point. This event has the likeness of a block party but very laid back and kid-friendly. If interested in post fireworks show entertainment there are easily accessible bars and cabarets from here. The Montmartre is a 130 meters high and located in north Paris at the 18^th arrondissement.

3) New Year's Eve at the Moulin Rouge- The show costs about $686 per person and takes place on December 31, 2007 at 9pm at Bal du Moulin Rouge,Montmartre,82 boulevard de Clichy 75018 Paris, France. Guests will enjoy a lobster dinner accompanied by Champagne. Entertainment includes dancing, and music by the Moulin Rouge Orchestra. 4) Lido is another Paris Cabaret show. It is located on the Champs -Elysees. The show will also include a lobster and champagne dinner and special New Years Eve celebration. This will cost about $739.

5) Divan du Monde Club- This two level club will be packed with people and fun on New Years Eve. Cover charge will be around $7.50 and drinks were quit economical as well. Beer was $6.50 and cocktails from $7.50 -$9.00. The music played ranges from indie rock, punk, new wave and fusion. The club is located at 75 rue des Martyrs 9^th arrondissement. 4)Yachts De Paris-If none of the above interests you, then you can take a New Years Eve cruise. For about $210 you will enjoy a gourmet candlelit dinner, elegant desert, and coffee all while hearing the fine melodies of a live jazz orchestra. This cruise offers up beautiful views of the city and reflections of the fireworks shows in the water. You will be taken by the Notre Dame Cathedral, Tuileries Gardens, and Concorde.
