Topping the list of the latest celebrity teens of 2008-2009 would have to be Kristen Stewart, the perky, young, dark haired teenager made famous by her starring appearance in the blockbuster movie 'Twilight.' Before Twilight, Kristen was known for her roles in 'Panic Room', opposite Jodie Foster, 'Jumper', 'The Messengers' and 'Fierce People.' Kristen was born on April 9th, 1990 in Colorado, but was raised in Los Angeles. She starred in her first movie in 1999, and if her fame with 'Twilight' is any indication, I'm sure we'll be seeing her in many more starring roles.

Miley Cyrus is definitely number 2 on the list of teenage celebrity stars. From her scandalous photo shoots with her dad, Billy Ray, to the racy tabloid reports, she's gone from being America's little sweetheart, to top scandalized teenage sensation in the past year. Growing up in the spotlight couldn't have been easy for Ms. Cyrus, but she's bungled it with grace and dignity. Should we be mad at her for submitting our children, who just happen to worship her, to the teenage exploits she's participated in? I think not.
