Christmas 2009 is just weeks away. Knowing how close Christmas is here most parents start Christmas shopping about now. Before they start shopping the most famous question is "What are the Hottest Christmas Toys for 2009." Being a parent of 3 small kids I know this year I will be spending less money due to this darn recession. Will I be able to buy some of the hottest Christmas toys for 2009 for my children? Yes, because many of the toy Companies are now making smaller and budget friendly ideas for kids that parents can actually afford rather than spending a few hundred dollars on one toy like the infamous Butterscotch Pony that was hot last year.

After doing my research and getting some toy advice from a Toy's R Us coworker, here are the toys that are hot for Christmas 2009. Let's see if your favorite Christmas toy made my list.

Hottest ones for 2009 I will assume will be the Blue Whale, Cotton Candy Bunny, American Golden Retreiver, Key Lime Dino, Spotted Turtle, and the Chimpanzee. Where to find/buy Webkinz? #3 Hottest Christmas toy for 2009 is the Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid. This neat 7 piece set allows children to transform this figure in many different ways. If your child combines the whole thing together they will have an 11 inch tall Bakugan figure that is red and yellow and looks pretty cool. Not a bad deal for $30-$50 dollars. #4 Hottest Christmas toy for 2009 is the Dora Links Doll. This Dora doll is a tad expensive, but it allows your child to plug it into your PC and have her own little virtual word with Dora. Also with this Dora doll your child can change the hair, eye color, jewelry, and even clothes all online. This toy will allow your Hannah Montana fan to live out their dream and Hannah's as well. Your child can change the clothing, hair, accessories, and even make a cute video. #6 Hottest Christmas toy for 2009 is the Lego Mind Storm- This amazing Lego Robot will have your kids totally amazed, but you will pay the price. This Lego Mind Storm has a very hefty price of $299. Other retailers may have it cheaper, but you must do your research now before it's too late.

#7 Hottest Christmas toy for 2009 the Bratz Magic Hair Salon Play set with Raya- Barbie has competition this Christmas with all the new Bratz toys popping all over this year 2009. This adorable hair salon will allow your child to wash, color, streak, glitter, and dazzle up her own Bratz doll. This item is so cute me being a beautician might just have to get one for my daughter so I can play.

#10 Hottest Christmas toy is MindFlex. This mind game is becoming really popular amongst the kids. It allows them to use their mind and try to move objects in a fun creative way. This does have a hefty price of $79.00, but other retailers have it cheaper such as Amazon for $73.00.
