Below you will find a nice compilation of very promising games that will hit shelves shortly, in no particular order here they are:
De Blob 2 for Xbox 360, DS, Nintendo Wii and PS3
Although this game may not be for your hardcore fighter gamers out there, the original De Blob was such a fun and de-stressing good time. On the Wii, the original game was simply gnarly due to the controls and Wii mote action. Basically you are a blob, who dips himself into pools of paint located throughout your environment. Your job as a player is to paint the town. As simple as it sounds, the game was fun and challenging.
De Blob 2 is surely going to be a crowd pleaser, and fans of the original title have been waiting for a long time for this one! It is due out on February 22nd 2011, don't miss it!
Pokemon White and Pokemon Black
Pokemon is always a top seller, with an ever growing collection of Pokemon games, this one is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This game will feature all new Pokemon to catch, raise, and train as you battle through the game. There is a black version, and a white version, both of which need to be purchased separately as they contain 2 legendary Pokemon that you can only find in each individual game. Similar to Animal Crossing, finding certain Pokemon can only be accomplished during certain seasons. Yup, for the first time in a Pokemon game, the season will shift!
Pokemon Black and Pokemon White are due out for the Nintendo DS on March 6th 2011.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
Battling through a living comic book is going to be a ton of fun this February, with the release of this title. You as a player will be playing as legendary comic book characters. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds surely will please fans of the first 2 original titles, only packed with more, and sweeter looking graphics!
This particular title will be releasing for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. You can find it on shelves come February 15th 2011.
Nintendo 3DS
The Nintendo 3DS is not particularly a video game per say, however it is surely going to be on the list of every child, teen, and yes, some adults alike. Now the major issue we have here with the gnarly new 3D technology, is the fact that the 3DS is priced at what the Nintendo Wii was priced at a few years ago on release day. Now you have to wonder if a handheld is truly worth $249.99? Well, that is up to you, regardless of the jaw dropping price tag, the Nintendo 3DS will more than likely sell like hotcakes on a Sunday morning.
The 3DS is however being released at a very strange release time for Nintendo. I would expect Nintendo to plop this one on shelves come next Christmas, however you can scoop it up on March 15th, 2011.
Dragon Age 2
I am pretty excited about this one, as Dragon Age: Origins kept my mind occupied for hours with game play I couldn't resist. The second installment of this ever growing popular game franchise is sure to impress old fans, and rake in a ton of new fans as well. In an ever changing world, you must fight to stay alive!
Dragon Age 2 will hit shelves on March 8th, 2011, and will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
Homefront
This particular war game is going to be a killer first person shooter, with phenomenal graphics, a spectacular and engaging plot, and multi-player gaming online will be done like never before, Halo gamers will find this one to be particularly addicting.
Homefront is set for release on March 15th 2011 for the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.
Crysis 2: Limited Edition
The aliens are back yet again for total destruction of the human race! Fans of the Crysis franchise have been on the edges of their seats waiting for the release day of this game, and finally on March 22nd, and will be released on not only the PC, but the XBox 360 and PS3 as well!
Stay tuned for April's hot Spring releases!
