As you know, Season 4 began with a new Team, Wilson found a girlfriend (who House renamed as "Cut-Throat Bitch"), House and Amber fought over Wilson for custody rights. Cameron, Chase and Foreman all returned although I would prefer to see them more in each episode. Cameron as a blond? Well, at least she's back. Amber dies at the end and after bawling my eyes out every time the scene came on, watching her last moments with Wilson as they shared the hospital bed and said they're goodbyes, I decided to leave the room when watching that episode the 4th time! Poor Wilson, my heart went out to him.
Even though I'm a sucker for the old Team, watching the beginning of how the new Team was created was hilarious. In reality, the actors really had no idea from one day to the next if they were being cut for real as the "game" continued on . They had to read the scripts to see if they were coming back the next day!
So that is where Season 4 left off. Oh, did I forget to mention that the last shot of Wilson was his hateful glare at House? After all, if it wasn't for House getting drunk and needing a ride home, sweet and pleasant "Cut-Throat Bitch" would still be alive!
That leaves us to believe that Season 5 will definitely start off with some slight animosity towards House. Will Wilson ever forgive him? Will Foreman stay or go? Will he find his place and be happy in House' shadow? Just how close will Cuddy and House get? Oh and 13, just how long will she last on the show this season with her already existing but newly confirmed Huntington's Disease? Will Cameron and Chase ever find their way back to the linen closet?? Find out this Tuesday night! (and the entire Season 5!)
Season 5 of House I have no doubts will have the same humorous lines as in every episode of every season in the past. I look forward to those! Laurie plays his part exceptionally well, and cracks just enough of a smile while bellowing them out that you just have to laugh. My favorite line out of all the seasons is from the episode 'Acceptance" in Season 2. House and the patient (LL Cool J) are getting drunk. Its back to death-row for the patient if he's diagnosed in time and cured. But little does the patient know that the alcohol is the antidote for the copier fluid he drank, which landed him in the hospital (in chains) in the first place! With a slight buzz on, House confides in the patient that the alcohol will cure the poison in his system. The look on House's face is PRICELESS when he says, "I also saved your life....(chuckles)...at least for now"
Hats off to a great bunch of writers, directors and actors of House! And a special thank you most of all to the fans who just keep the show going!
