Magazines
Many people have some sort of old magazine laying around the house. You can use magazine's do to a number of things in your scrapbook. Go through and cut out the letters, use the letters to make words or names in your scrapbook. Cut out some of the pictures and use them in your scrapbook. Maybe the scrapbook you are working on is for someone, use a picture to portiat something that person likes in there scrapbook. There are tons of other ways you can use magazines these are just a few.
Yarn
Yarn is also a great thing to incorporate into your scrapbook. Maybe you have a few extra pieces laying around the house. You can use yarn as a border around your pictures in your scrapbooks. Or you can make desgins on the pages of your scrapbook with the yarn. Also you can fray the yarn out and use it as a background in your scrapbook.
Fabric
Fabric can also be incorporated into a scarpbook. It could just be a raggdy T - shirt or some left over fabric from another project. There are many places you can find fabric in your home. You can use the fabric as a background on one of the pages of your scrapbook. You coul also cut out shapes or designs in the fabric to use in your scrapbook.
Old gift bags and wrapping paper
Old gift bags and wrapping paper can be used in your scrapbook. Many of us save our old gift bags and wrapping paper, who really knows why but we do. And now there is a new way to use it. You are bound to find some sort of wrapping paper or gift bag laying around the house. Maybe you have a gift bag from a baby shower or some type of party. If you are doing a child's scrapbook you could find a design or picture on one of those bags, that you can cut out and put in your scrapbook. Maybe you have some christmas wrapping paper laying around the house, and the scrapbook you are working on happens to be on a christmas type page. Well there you go use the wrapping paper as a background on your page or cut out shapes and designs to use on your scrapbook.
You can find many things just laying around your home that you could incorporate into your scrapbook. It helps to save you some money and also recycle some of the things that you already have. Not to mention help decrease some of the clutter around the house.
