But you're not here to read about the problems, you want the solutions; and solutions you shall have. However, there is something you should know; these remedies don't involve popping pills or gulping down excessive amounts of the pink stuff. No, unfortunately you may be required to get a little creative with some of the other things that sit on the shelves of your pantry and in the back of the refrigerator. The good news is, these alternatives are a whole lot cheaper than all those capsules and liquids, and they don't leave behind unwanted toxins that end up making you sick again later.

If you're still interested, read on to find out how relief can be found from the things that ail that poor stomach of yours.

Relief for Heartburn and Constipation

You've heard about the amazing health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar before, but did you ever think it could help with heartburn? After all isn't vinegar an acid; the very thing you are trying to eliminate?

While drinking Apple Cider Vinegar straight is probably the worst thing you could do for heart burn, there is a special way to prepare it that makes it much friendlier and effective.

Mix 1 tablespoon ACV with 1 cup hot water and 1 tablespoon of honey. Drink at the first sign of heartburn for quick relief.

Apple cider vinegar also works wonderfully to detoxify. Drink the above mixture three times a day to eliminate constipation. Organic ACV is the best to use, as it still has the compounds in it that produces all of the wonderful health benefits.

Diarrhea

This stomach ailment is bad news indeed, but not if you have the right tools to fix it. Chamomile is a spectacular herb when it comes to putting diarrhea in its place. To get the quickest results from chamomile drink 3 cups of chamomile tea a day when the diarrhea starts.

Cinnamon is another effective remedy, although sprinkling it on your breakfast isn't going to do the job. Cinnamon is the most effective when taken in capsule form. Since this is the case, it isn't the best choice when you're looking for quick relief. On the other hand, if you take a cinnamon supplement on a daily basis it may help prevent those episodes of diarrhea. Cinnamon works well for gas, and nausea as well; but let's not jump too far ahead, we'll cover the remedies for nausea in a moment.

Gas, Bloating, General Aches, and Indigestion

We'll get right to the point on this one; sometimes you just have a plain old stomach ache. So what's the magic elixir for this? Ok, there is no magic elixir, but there is a pretty good natural remedy for it. Want to know what it is? Alright, here it goes. It's honey.

When that stomach gets to aching, mix 2 teaspoons honey with 1 cup of hot water, and the juice from a lemon, and you'll be feeling better in no time.

What about the gas, bloating, and indigestion? You can wipe out these unwanted guests with 1 teaspoon baking soda mixed into ¾ cup hot water.

Nausea

Last but of course not least, what to do about our good old friend, or rather not so good old friend, nausea? Well, how about a great tasting and refreshing solution.

Drink 1 cup of peppermint tea, hot or cold, as soon as you begin feeling woozy. You'll be surprised at how well and how fast this actually works.

Well friend, that's all. It is my sincerest hope that you never again have to experience the extreme unpleasantness of these stomach distresses. But just in case you do, be sure to keep these remedies close by.
