Houseplants Poem

Sandy James
Houseplants are living decorations;
Outdoors most wouldn't survive.
Umbrella plant, rubber plant, and jade;
Some have flowers, some do not.
Each houseplant has its season;
Periodic blooms or growth pattern;
Low light or bright light,
All have their special needs.
No home should be without one;
Two or three might be preferred.
Simple decorations make a cozy home.

    I've always preferred cut flowers. Not sure why.

    What an awesome acrostic. I have never written one before and looking at your quality of word craftsmanship, I'm not going to try. Well done neighbor.

    Our place is full of them, thanks to my wife! When she is not around, I have to water them, a chore sometimes! Nice poem, Sandy - siva
