Binghamton New York is a city in the south east part of New York State, right near the border with Pennsylvania, as a matter of fact it is closer to Scranton Pennsylvania, 50 miles. than to any major city in New York. The cities, villages and towns in the Southern Tier section of New York State abound with natural beauty and Binghamton is no exception. There are great city parks, state parks and it is on the banks of the Susquehanna River.
