How to Get 1000 Page Views or More in One Night with One Article with Three Easy Steps

You Can Get 1000 or More Page Views in One Night with These Three Easy Steps

K.M. Stockton
Everything you have ever read about the Yahoo! Contributor Network or other sites that pay you for page views has probably told you that page views don't come overnight, that you have to work hard, blah blah blah. Well, they are right - but not always. Getting 1000 or more page views overnight is completely possible. In fact, I did it last night with nearly 1500 page views overnight by writing a single article.

Let me add a disclaimer to these steps: this isn't fool-proof and it isn't a guarantee - but it's more likely to get you a 1000 page views overnight than any other method.

Let me add a second disclaimer: many articles that you write to get 1000 page views a night or more will be a one-time thing. They will gain a large number of page views over one night or maybe two or three, and then they won't gain very many page views at all.

That said, read on to these three simple steps to getting 1000 page views over night or more by writing one article.

Step One to Getting 1000+ Page Views Overnight With One Article - Check The News Early in the Morning or Late at Night

Depending on how you work (I work in the evening and during the night), you need to check big web-sites front pages for news stories. Check AOL and Yahoo! See what stories are on their front page.

It is absolutely crucial that you do this either late at night, such as 2 or 3 in the morning, or very early in the morning such as 5 am. You need to find them before they start hitting the presses.

Step Two to Getting 1000+ Page Views Overnight With One Article - Write Your Article

Do your research. Write your article. It doesn't matter what take you have. I wrote this article on the new iPhone's supposed leak with a sarcastic, humorous twist. I did some outside research outside of the front page story on it to back up my facts. (This is a good plan always.)

Write. Proofread. Submit.

Step Three to Getting 1000+ Page Views Overnight With One Article - Promote Your Content

After it is published (you will need to keep watch for this), promote the link! Post the link to your story in the comments section of the original article about it and on any other articles on the subject that surface, because, believe me, they will.

Your page views will add up overnight!

Things to Remember When Getting 1000 or More Page Views Per Night:
Remember that keywords are still important. My story was on the first page of search results for three different Google searches.

Remember that proofreading is still important. Spelling and grammar still count. You need to get the story out quickly, but you don't want to get a bad reputation this way.

Remember that your story might be controversial. For instance, if you read my article about the iPhone, you can see that I was sarcastic, which might have ticked off a lot of iPhone fans. They were already having heated discussions in the comments. I'm sure I didn't help any - but I don't care. They can think what they want. Just be prepared for this.Remember that you need an original take. You can just submit a rewritten news story and expect it to even get published let alone get you a 1000 page views or more.

There is one strategy you mentioned here, I haven't tried yet. Thanks.

Another strategy is to submit it to Social Monkee so it picks up a quick burst of backlinks and then ping the RSS feed to Ping-O-Matic or another service.
