Make it to your 8 a.m. class by just getting up, getting out of bed and going to class no matter what. Fifty percent of life is just showing up. Even if you are not prepared, even if you are tired or any other excuse that you may have, you should just show up to class. You have a commitment that needs to be kept on a daily basis. Even missing one class can be detrimental to your grades.

Make it to Your 8 a.m. Class By Getting Enough Sleep

It is important to get enough sleep every night, especially on week nights. You can not miss sleep and then catch up on the weekends. You are doing yourself a disservice by limiting your sleep. You should be getting about 8 hours per night. You should be in bed by 11 p.m. if you need a hour to get ready and make it to your 8 a.m. class.

Lack of sleep can also contribute to weight gain and health problems according to the Mayo Clinic.

Make it to Your 8 a.m. Class By Keeping Up With Your Homework

If your homework is completed, it is much easier to get up out of bed to get to your college class on time. If you know that you do not have it prepare, you will be much more likely to stay in bed. Complete your homework immediately after school every day, so that you can rest easily and get to school on time. If you start your homework in the afternoon, most likely you will be able to finish it before your bedtime.

Make it to Your 8 a.m. Class By Limiting Party Going

If you can't make it to your 8 a.m. class because you are partying too much, you need to change your habits. Lake night partying can ruin your grades and your health. Limit the parties that you attend to just Friday and Saturday night. No parties Sunday through Thursday night.

Your college education is crucial to your success in life. Make the changes that need to be made to be successful and make it to your 8 a.m. class.
