How to Achieve Success in Network Marketing
An MLM May Be Your Key to Financial Freedom - it is Up to You!
In order to achieve real network marketing success you need to first: find the perfect company for you. The company needs to be privately held, cares about their individual representatives, and has a compensation plan that leads to financial freedom. The company needs to have leadership support groups with solid business ethics, and a training system to get people started off right. The company needs to be all about the people, and not about the sales.
The following are the key ingredients on what makes or breaks a network marketer. If one follows these very simple ingredients, their business will grow, and grow, and grow.
1. Duplication is key
2. Do what the successful people do
3. Perseverance
4. Leadership and servitude
5. Self Education
Network marketing is not a get quick rich scheme. And this is the misconception. It is a season of sacrifice that leads to years of financial freedom. From successful networking leaders like Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn, to self made millionaires like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, the one thing that is key to success is the determination and the will to succeed.
1. Duplication is key
Every and any training you will attend will pound in your head (if they are about long term success) that "Duplication is key!" Yet immediately, after a new representative signs up to their MLM of choice, they learn 'duplication is key' but they go home and reinvent the wheel.
They feel their wheel is rounder. Their wheel is faster. Their wheel is smoother. Well, the wheel was already invented and people are using it to succeed while the new representative, with no education and experience as a successful network marketer, will re-invent a wheel that has already been invented. What happens? They quit and quitting is the only thing that leads to failure. Duplicate what is already being done and you will succeed.
2. Do what the successful people do
Put yourself in the path of the successful people in your industry. And do what they do. Here's a hint: They teach and preach duplication. They are proud of what they do and do not hide it from friends and family. They are caring, they are kind, they are humble. Many network marketers take their ego with them into a business and realize they are always right, but they never recruit any prospects.
Successful people duplicated, they struggled, but they also did what the successful people before them did. If a new network marketer checks their ego at the door, life doesn't just happen to them, success in life does!
3. Perseverance
Again, you will hear it over and over, you can find quotes all of the internet on how to succeed in anything in life - and that's perseverance. The moment it gets difficult, the moment you start to see things in a negative light, that's the moment where your preparation will determine your success.

With opportunity there comes a ton of difficulty - and vice versa. Network marketing isn't a 30 day road to financial freedom. Is it possible? Heck ya! Is it probable? Probably not! Set a 3 to 5 year plan and do not be like those that sign up, get a couple of negative responses, and basically quit before they even started. What did they think? It was going to be easy because it looks so simple? This is not a sprint to the finish, this is a marathon. Persevere and get to the end!
4. Leadership
Learn to lead! But in order to lead you must be able to follow. Once you realize this you will become a great leader. And the great leaders earn wealth in network marketing like you would not believe!
Leadership begins and ends in influence. Leadership is also all about serving others. In network marketing this concept is so important but it is often forgotten. As a network marketer, despite 'why' you joined, wand 'why' you want financial freedom, is all about someone else - and not you! The concept for many is hard to understand. The concept first starts, I want this, I want that... but the idea is simple: Be an effective leader and help others achieve what they want and in turn you will achieve what you want.

Network marketing is not a self-oriented business. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Yes, you will hear that all the time, but you must let it sink in. Serve others before you serve yourself and the results will be incredible!
5. Self Education
People go four years of college to get a degree in order to get a job that they hate and to get paid less than what they think they are worth. Yet so many network marketers jump right into the business with a 'know it all' attitude - their result: failure.

Read books, listen to self improvement and leadership CDs, study leadership, sales, psychology, coaching, people. Educate yourself on everything that your business is about - and that is all the former: from leadership to people, from sales to sales psychology, from mentoring and coaching in order to teach duplication, if you self educate yourself much like getting a college degree, it will prepare you for one thing - success.
Success is the bottom line in network marketing. "Try not to become a man of success but a man of value." Albert Einstein By doing the above 5 things you strive for value - and it leads to success!
This is what you need to succeed. If you apply these 5 key ingredients in your approach to success you will succeed. Many won't apply these things. And this is why they fail.
