How to Add Music to Your Blog

Your blog will be more attractive and lively if you let visitors listen to an interesting song. So, how to put your music into your blog.

1. Prepare the music file you want to put into your blog. This could be any music you downloaded from Limewire or anywhere else in the Internet. I also know a person who put his own voice in his blog. Everything is okay. I recommend you to choose bitrate about 64-128; and your music file should be wma or mp3.

2. Change your music file to video file. There is no need to download any software. You can use Windows Movie Maker.

Click Start > All Programs > Windows Movie Maker

Click "Import audio and music" and locate the music file.

Drag the music file to storyboard.

Click "Make titles or credits" to type in title and author for your video file. You can put in whatever you want. This does not show up in your video.

Click "Save to My Computer".

Click "Show more choices... > Video for Broadband (340 kbps). You should balance the quality and size of your video file to let the visitors listen to your music properly, even with low-speed internet.

3. Create an account on Youtube or Google Video and upload your file. You should be receiving your link the uploaded file.

4. After writing your blog, click "View HTML Source". Copy the embed HTML of Youtube or Google. If you are good at HTML, you can change your code a little bit to fit your need. Remember to use Autoplay and Loop by adding autoplay=1 and loop=1 to your code. Add autoPlay=true means the file will play automatically when somebody click on your blog. Loop=true means that the file will play repeatedly.

Note: In Yahoo! 360, if you add one song in all of your blogs, the song will play automatically when somebody click on your page. Remember to add some text besides your code.

After finishing all of these steps, you will find out that your blog is not only interesting to read but also interesting to listen to. Therefore, you should have more friends and more readers.
