Desktops that are widely used right now are using the Windows operating system. Windows offers an Outlook feature which has a built in calendar. This calendar is very useful in reminding you of your appointments and other important dates that you would not want to forget. Since this is in your Outlook feature, you will still have to open the Outlook feature before you can see your calendar, which sometimes takes time. Now you can use this calendar with ease by having this posted on your desktop. It not only gives you the dates and days of the months, it will also enable you to view your appointments.

Here is how you can add your outlook calendar on your desktop background.

Open your web browser and open the "Outlook on the Desktop" page which is for download. This page will enable you to drag the information for the Outlook calendar in order for you to have it displayed on your desktop. Download the page.

After downloading the "Outlook on the Desktop" page, launch the Outlook program on your desktop.

Once it is launched, an Outlook icon will appear on your active desktop.

Look for the Outlook icon on your desktop and right click on it.

To be able to embed the Outlook calendar into your desktop just click the "Calendar" option.

To select for the best style and type of calendar that you want to use and will appear on your desktop, right click again on the Outlook icon located in your desktop and choose the "Preferences" option. A list of choices will appear so that you can choose for the best suitable style that you would want.

After doing all these, you can try to use your calendar. Try to click on a date to see what are the reminders that you have added on it. If there are reminders which you have forgotten to write, you can add them on your calendar so as not to forget about them.

This is how easy you can make your Outlook calendar on your desktop. Try it now!
