Adding photos to an iPad is straightforward and can be accomplished in two simple ways: either by using iTunes or by using an SD card to keep your pictures synchronized . All you need is a PC, a connector cable, iTunes or an SD card and free space on your iPad.
In particular:
Using iTunes
1. Connect the iPad to your PC using the connector cable that came with the device. Use a high-speed port on your computer to maximize transfer speed.
2. Wait for a few seconds until the device is detected by your PC. If iTunes fails to launch automatically, double- click on the iTunes icon to open.
3. Click on "Devices" on the left side list and click on your iPad.
4. Choose the "Photos" option and "Choose folder" to locate the directory you wish sync with your iPad. Make sure that you select the main directory that contains multiple directories with all the photos you wish to sync at a time. In doing so, you facilitate synchronization instead of having multiple directories dispersed several locations in your PC.
5. Mark the "Sync Photos From" option and select the photos on your computer that you wish to sync.
6. Click on the "Sync" button and wait for a few seconds until the process is over. Time transfer varies according to the volume and quality of your pictures. Do not remove the iPad or shut down your computer until sync is over.
Using an SD card
You can also input photos to your iPad straight through your camera or an SD card via the optional iPad Camera Connection Kit . The connection kit features two connectors, one for USB connection and the second one used as a card reader.
Specifically:
1. Connect the camera directly to the iPad via the USB cable that comes with the Camera Connection Kit. The iPad will automatically detect your camera and allow you to browse and transfer the photos of your choice.
2. Insert your SD card to the second connector. Once your iPad recognizes it, it automatically opens the Photos app and allows you to choose the pictures you want to sync to your iPad.
The revolutionary iPad is changing the way you used to view your photos until now. Hold it in your hands, browse among the various folders and enjoy vivid colors and crystal clear images like never before.
