How to Add a Picture to Your Desktop

If you are bored seeing the same blue screen on your desktop, why not change it. Is very easy to change the picture on your desktop. You could add a picture to your desktop by simple looking through your picture folder. You could also add a picture from the internet. This is how you will do this.

First turn on your computer. Locate the start button, and click on it. Locate the control panel and click on it. This will takes you to the category screen. What we want to click on is appearance and themes. Then look for the change desktop background. Click on desktop back ground. You will see a screen box that says display properties. If you have a folder with pictures you could click on the browse. Then just look at the folder where you keep your pictures. If you do not have a picture for your desktop, you could browse the internet, and get one. To do this just type of anything you want for a picture. Then click on images that are located on top of the search. You will see a bunch of pictures. Once you have selected your picture, right click the mouse. Click on the picture and save.

When finish go back to the display properties screen. Click on browse and select your picture, and click on open. You could select on the position you want your picture to appear on desktop. You could select center, tile, stretch. If you select center, your picture would be small and located at the center of your desktop. If you choose title, you will see a bunch of pictures squares on your desktop. If you select stretch, you will see your picture big. Now if you want to decide the color of the background, the only way would be if you decide to have your picture center. You will be able to see the color. If you decide to go with the title, or stretch you will not be able to see the background color . When you decide on the picture click apply, and then okay. Then close all applications. You should be able to see the picture at desktop. If you do not like it, you go back and change it. If you want to change the picture follow the steps that were explain at the beginning.
