From the grand performances, to the often times overly critical judge reviews, all of the elements of the show are included in the Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore games. The 40 songs included with the game will keep you busy for awhile, but once you need more songs, downloading them from Xbox Live is easy. How to Download Songs in Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 1 and 2

To purchase additional songs for either game, you will need a few things in addition to the Xbox 360 and the game itself. You will also need an Xbox Live Gold or silver membership, an Internet connection for your Xbox 360, and Microsoft points to purchase the songs.

Turn on your Xbox 360, insert the Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore disc, and wait for the game to start. Once the title screen has loaded, press "Start," then select "Xbox Live." Select "Marketplace" from the "Xbox Live" menu, at which point you will be able to view the available songs list, as well as see the Microsoft Point cost for each digital download. Note that there are often song packs available, which consist of a group of songs available at a much cheaper price than a song would be individually. Prior to purchasing songs, ensure that you have enough Microsoft Points to purchase the desired song, highlight it, and press the "A" button.
