How to Advertise Your Associated Content Articles on MySpace

Link Your Articles to the Largest Social Networking Website to Enhance Page Views

Andrew Berry
MySpace is the largest social networking websites on the internet today. Linking your Associated Content work to your MySpace profile can generate may more views, which enhances the amount of money you make thanks to the new page views oriented Performance Bonus. Wiithin this Performance Bonus you gain $1.50 for every 1000 page views you attain. This means advertising your Associated Content work can bring you a pretty penny, MySpace being one of the best ways to advertise.

MySpace, like I said before, is the largest social networking website on the internet. But in order to advertise your Associated Content articles on MySpace, you must be a member. To become a member, go to www.myspace.com and follow all the directions to become a member. Becoming a MySpace member is free, and it is a great way to keep in touch with loved ones. Also, it is great to make new friends with the same interests as you as well.

Once you're a member, it's time to advertise your articles. Luckily this is a simple procedure thanks to Associated Content's staff having already hyperlinked images to your Content Produer page. To find these images go to 'My Account' or 'Community'. If you went to 'My Account', click on the link that is a little under and to the left that says 'My Tools'. If you went to 'Community', click on the link below that that says 'CP Tools'. All of this leads to this Associated Content webpage.

When you open that page you will see there are plenty of images and banners to choose from. The weird-looking text contained in the textbox is the HTML that contains the image and links it to your Content Producer page. Copy the text from any of the samples that you choose (highlight the text and press Ctrl + c [make sure you get all of the text within the field]) and go to your MySpace profile page. At the top where it says "Hi, yourname!", click the link that says 'Edit Profile' to the right of it. This is also right next to your default picture that is being shown.

Now is where personal taste comes into play, but I will throw in my suggestions as well.

I suggest that you paste {press Ctrl + v) the html in your 'About Me' portion of your MySpace since it's in the center of your profile, and it's where most people will see and click on it. If you wish to put the HTML somewhere else, simply paste (Ctrl + v) the HTML there instead.

As soon as you are happy with all of your new additions to your MySpace profile, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click 'Save All Changes' to ensure that nothing accidentally gets deleted or lost in any way.

Another simple way of advertising your Associated Content articles on MySpace is to post links to your articles on the MySpace Forums. To get to the MySpace forums go to www.myspace.com, and click the link that says 'Forum' near the top of the MySpace website. Post whatever your article is about in the correlating forum section. For example, if your article is about religion, put it in the religion portion of the MySpace forums. Since people who are interested in religion read the content there, there's a better chance they'll look at your articles as well. If you go into the chatrooms on MySpace, post your link there as well, but make sure that the article you're posting correlates with the chatroom you're in as well also.

Thanks for the tips. I use Myspace all the time, but was not yet familiar enough with it to know how to promote my articles on there.

Good steps to note. I have never been to myspace or you tube. Just starting at digg and then see what else to do next.

Nice step by step tutorial and good tips. I also blog some of the articles I think my friends may like to read, or even post bulletins about them. Works for me, since most of my friends are parents, and parenting is my main topic!
