How to Advertise a Martial Arts School

Project Self-Confidence!

Dan Reveal
As you reflect upon the real value of learning martial arts, you'll be put in a better position to know how to advertise your newly opened martial arts school.

Learning martial arts isn't about beating up the bully. It's about projecting an aura of self-confidence so that no real violence is even necessary.

You can most effectively advertise your martial arts school, therefore, by dwelling on the quiet good judgment which self-confidence provides to those who have been trained in self-defense.

This type of advertising can be done in more ways than one.

Advertise Through Word of Mouth

Advertising your newly opened martial arts school can be done in the same manner of quiet repose which also suggests the true benefits of learning techniques of self-defense.

You would not want a garish sign right in front of a martial arts school that promises peace of mind through physical training, for example. Can you see the contradiction in such an advertising ploy?

In contrast, a classier approach toward advertising your martial arts school would be through word of mouth. Let the word spread from one satisfied customer to another that the martial arts skills you can teach are of the highest quality.

A word of mouth approach to advertising your martial arts school implies that you are confident you will have many students in your newly opened martial arts school.

Furthermore, a simple sign in the front of your martial arts school is the perfect minimalist antidote to the garish self-promotion of lesser qualified martial arts instructors.

Point to the Advantages of a Better Life

You can also advertise your martial arts school through genuine promises of what will be gained by learning self-defense.

You don't guarantee that those enrolled in your martial arts school will be the new Bruce Lee or some other glamorous Hollywood figure.

Instead, you will want to advertise your martial arts school based on the premise of real advantages and real results that can apply to everyday life.

Pointing to the advantages of health and happiness refers again to the real value of martial arts.

Advertising though word of mouth about what can be gained from coming to you for self-defense lessons will give great credibility to your martial arts school.

You don't need fancy signs. You only need to be able to do what you say you can do.
