*Rotate the tires on your car every 6,000 miles. When you do this than get your brakes checked as well. If you need new tires this can save you time. You can have them changed, brakes checked all in the same appointment. Have them check front and back lights as well.
*Change the engine coolant every two to three years. This is to check to make sure you are using the correct product. There are many types you can use. Air filters should be changed when they are dirty. Dust and dirt can clog the air filters.
*Change the oil in the engine every 3,000 to 6,000 miles. Many cars and trucks today recommend using synthetic or synthetic blend of oil rather than conventional mineral-based oil.
Refer to your owner's manual when taking care of your car. It will tell you about the car and what to use for it. It tells you everything from engine to tires. If you take care of your car it will take care of you. Treat your car like your baby. Vehicle's are alot of money as it is so take care of your baby.
