Why Make Floral Bath Vinegars?

How to Make the Bath Vinegar
Floral bath vinegars are every easy to make, though they do require some time. If, for example, you plan to make some as a gift, start the recipe about one month in advance. This time allows the scents from the flower petals and plant parts to infuse into the vinegar.
Begin the floral bath vinegar with one cup of white vinegar, one cup of distilled water, and approximately two cups of your flower petals or parts. More fragrant herbs and flowers may require less than two cups. The best test is trying it out and seeing how fragrant your mixture becomes over time.
Mix the vinegar and water together and pour them into a glass bottle. Add all the flower parts, put the lid on the bottle, and put it in a dark places such as a closet.
Leave the bottle in the closet for at least a month, shaking it once or twice per week. At the end of this time period, take the bottle out and strain the contents, throwing out the flower parts and putting the floral bath vinegar into a decorative bottle.
Flower Ideas for the Bath Vinegar
Roses are one of the flowers with the most scent. The petals make a bath vinegar which is stimulating. You can also use lavender flowers for a relaxing before bedtime bath vinegar. If you make your all natural bath vinegar with herbs, use only half a cup. Some choices include mint, rosemary, and lemon balm.
