How to Make an Animated Mother's Day Card

Trying to find the special card for Mother's Day? Or perhaps you would like something different then the traditional Mother's Day card made out of stock paper. Surprise your special mom with an Animated Mother's Day card this year. An animated Mother's Day card is something special and because it's made by you, she will be treasure it for many years to come. Using a digital picture frame to make your animated Mother's Day card, will give her something she can use all year round.

You can create your own Animated Mother's Day card at home with just a camera, digital picture frame, and a home computer. In the event that you don't have a home computer you can still make your Animated Mother's Day card using the picture machine at Wal-Mart.

What you will need to make your Animated Mother's Day card:

Digital Picture Frame

Digital Camera

Digital Picture Card

Computer Access with a picture program

First, start by shopping around for a digital picture frame. Digital picture frames can be very expensive but, if you check out a few places before buying you can find one rather cheap. They range from $20 - $499. A few good places to check for low priced digital picture frames are www.edgetechcorp.com, Circuit City, eBay, www.digitalframez.com, Radio Shack and local electronics stores.

Once you have your digital picture frame, you can then begin to work or your presentation which will be what makes up your animated Mother's Day card. Use your digital camera to take pictures of you, your family, and any thing else that might be important to her. Once you have your assortment of pictures which can be any amount you desire, load them up on to your computer using a picture program.

Once your pictures are loaded and you have created your slide show, you need to create a creating for your animated Mother's Day card. You could use any program to include Word, Paint, or Kodak to create your greeting. Design a file that can be loaded and is compatible to your digital picture frame. Using something along the lines of "Happy Mother's Day", create your main page for your digital frame. Once you have created your Mother's Day message load it and all the pictures on to the frame according to the directions listed with the digital frame.

Once your presentation is loaded be sure review the entire show on your digital picture frame to insure that it loaded properly and is what you desire it to be. Once you have reviewed the animation, your animated Mother's Day card is complete.

Simply wrap your animated Mother's Day card or place it in a nice gift box with tissue paper and present it to Mom on Mother's Day!
