- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 3 med apples
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 8x8 square pan with cooking spray. You can use oil and flour if desired.
- Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, gran sugar, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl cream butter and egg until light, then stir in the milk.
- Step 3
Then when all of that is thoroughly mixed add the flour mixture. Mix just a few strokes to make sure that all the ingredients are moist. Do not over mix. the batter should not be smooth!
- Step 4
Next stir in apples. Spread the batter in pan. In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, cinn and chopped pecans. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in oven for 50-55 min.
- Make sure you aren't over mixing your batter...it will make it fall after baking!
- Double to fit in a 9x13 pan
