Register with National Institute of Health for grant opportunities provided by grants.gov .
If you want to start your own business this can prove to be a very time consuming and challenging process and the question always occurs as where do I start?
I will help by what steps you need to take and no give much detail on the others steps except for how to register with era commons which is the National Institute of Health's registration.
First before you skip to this step you need to go register with CCR which stands for Central contractor registration. I will say just about every step will require some form of research to fill out. https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx is the website for CCR registration.
The next step is to wait to see if you're approved and then move on to ORCA, this is a simple process almost as simple as filling out your information to create an email address. https://orca.bpn.gov/ this is the website for ORCA registration.
The next step I recommend but is not required. It is registering with the National institute of Health. They have the most funding opportunities on www.grants.gov . Their website for registration is https://commons.era.nih.gov/commons/index.jsp?menu_itemPath=Home.
On this website look on your right hand side and under about the commons section you will see a section that says grantee organization registration. Click on that and fill out the information that they ask for. Then they will ask you to print out a form that after your done registering you will see. If you don't have a printer you will need to contact them and ask them to email you this form. You will then need to print it and fax the form back to them. Once you're accepted and registered with them you will need to log in and create a PI. If you do not create a PI your grants with them will get tossed in the shredder.
To create a PI you will need to log in to their website with the log and password you chose or the password they gave you in your email. You may have to create a new password. After you're done with that go to the admin tab then click on accounts then manage accounts. Once you have done this you will need to click on where it says create new account under role select PI fill out all the information and then submit it and you are done.
Now you can go to www.grants.gov and apply for all the grants your heart desires just read each grant carefully and pay attention to if it requires cost sharing or matching. These opportunities require you to put out just as much money as they give you. I prefer the one's that have no cost sharing or matching.
This is how my business and website was made possible http://www.wix.com/revsamantha28/NewMoonWiccanChurch .
