Step 1. Rehearse... a lot
The competition is going to be steep, and you'll need to be at the very top of your game. This means lots and lots of rehearsing will need to be done before you're ready to audition for Disney. Every day practice singing, dancing, and acting routines you will perform at your audition. Most Disney shows require at least two of the three skills, so showing that you have diversity is paramount.
Step 2. Get professional headshots
You want to show them that you have that "look" they want, and a professional headshot that looks great is the best, and really the only way to do it. Hiring a pro to take your headshots will be a more expensive than having your friend who's taken a few photography classes do it, but is well worth the money.
Step 3. Write a resume
Type up a one-page resume of any other entertainment work you've done. You want to show them that you're not completely green. If you have no prior experience, it would be good idea to go out there and get some.
Step 4. Find an agent
You're chances of even getting an audition for Disney will be the best if you have a talent agent. This can take a while, so be prepared to wait. Although Disney sometimes holds open auditions, most of them require that you have professional representation.
Step 5. Check the auditions calendar
You can go to disneyauditions.com to view the audition calendar and see all upcoming dates and locations for auditions.
Step 6. Send them a demo
Submit a demo video of you singing, performing, etc... to different casting directors who work for Disney. You can find a list of Disney casting directors by searching in trade directories online by the shows title.
So, there you have it. Those are the steps you must follow to get an audition for the Disney channel. Finding a talent agent is probably the most important step, because once have an agent, they will be ble to take care a lot of the rest and know other methods that will help you get an audition for the Disney channel.
