The aura can take on an acidic coloration, changing whatever natural hue the aura has to a version that looks acrid, sharp, more contracted, the outer walls pulling in and the aura turning in on itself. This may happen in the whole aura that relates to this incarnation particularly, or it may be localized.
We may pull in the aura around our heart chakra in order to harden it to being hurt, making an area dark and dense looking, energies moving inwards rather than outwards. These energies can move in drastically for people who are not open to loving people, but are manipulative and in need of a lot of attention. But even if we are very loving, we can turn the energies in to protect ourselves, hide our feelings, express feeling rejected and unlovable, drawing our ribs in too close, and creating a lot of lymph congestion around the sternum and between the ribs.
Sometimes, we may pull in our arm muscles if we feel embarrassed, like we're taking up too much space, being too noisy in a quiet house, doing delicate work that is risky, if we want to hold back expressing our feelings physically and naturally, and for any number of other reasons. This can cause cramping in the muscles, weakness in our arms, tensing of the muscles and bones in the shoulders which can pinch nerves. This can also cause the arm energies to come close to the body and be more susceptible to holding onto auric toxins from ourselves or others. This can cause us to move our arms less freely and expressively, cutting down the animation others are invigorated by in conversations, to feel less electrical flow when we reach out to touch them
Likewise, we may contact the aura around the crown chakra, the spiritual opening that goes beyond the verbal, beyond the local, beyond the individual, and into the expansive. Contraction is acid, and expansion is alkaline. We contain both in all of our cells and process, and they function less harmoniously if the PH balance is off at all. We have contracting and expanding points on our bodies, which can be looked at in terms of magnetism, which can be easily measured. The crown of the skull can be felt to be expanding, and when our crown chakras is open, the aura can be huge at this area, funneling outwards to the sky, violet, gold, silver, or white, most often when it is developed. This may cause others to treat us less lovingly, not be so in tuned with their own outpouring of love for all, feel they may be the problem and be unlovable, become distant and incommunicative, feel a backlog of loving feelings they want to share but can't building up in the heart area.
We may contract this area of the aura for many reasons, such as fear of becoming more psychic and interacting with ghosts or seeing auras or remembering dreams or dreaming more lucidly or learning to meditate, all things that seem positive to many people, but which can threaten others. Opening the aura and making it more alkaline can allow all these things to happen more naturally. Many other reasons cause people to close the crown chakra, such as accidents causing head injuries that leave the skull bones locked. Cranial sacral work, and osteopathy can be helpful for that, as can neurocranial restructuring, working through the sinuses themselves with chiropractice force.
Poor associations with religion or the New Age, orientation towards the physical plane rather than the spiritual, addictions, constant need to focus on survival, egoism, personal drama, and other causes can leave the crown chakra area closed in and contracted. This can cause others around us to close down their crown chakras to some degree, which do so well when others are also open and allowing the energies to flow and be acknowledged. Others may not feel the euphoria of connection, the bliss of the literal long wave of flow that links individuals into groups when we are "on the same wavelength."
We may clench the aura around the genitals, if sexuality worries us, whether we are afraid of our own impulses, have negative associations with sexual expression from our youth, have been molested, want to hide our feelings, are controlling and manipulative of others sexually, have a disease that would make us want to protect others, feel inadequate and embarrassed, etc. This can affect the aura around our pelvis and affect those around us. They may stop feeling it's OK to inhabit their sensuality, to play with it, to feel good about it, and express it. They may lose interest in us sexually, may feel discomfort in their bodies, as they become more acidic by being in connection with us.
Any area can become contracted. The more emotion that goes along with the reasons for contraction, the more acidic the aura becomes. Fear, anger, resentment, shyness, whatever it is, will color the aura, change its texture and how it affects others around you, part of which involves the way the aura grabs what is around it and pulls it inward, to some degree, when it is moving in that direction with a hard shell. This occurs more often when the person next to the contracting aura is related to the reason for the contracting. It can feel like being drawn into a web, a sharp pain along the skin, a dragging sensation, an itching, or cause a mimicking reaction, for example.
If the contracting acid aura feels resentful, the people around can feel it, and their auras will react, even if they don't know it. It can be observed by aura viewers. The contraction can feel like someone clenching his fist to strike, and can therefore cause those around him to clench their own auras in self protection, or in order to strike back.
This is unfortunate for those who are simply eating a too acid diet or have injuries that reflect in the aura, as others may react to the acidity in the aura when there is no emotion present. However, the more acid our body is, the more likely our emotions will be frustration, irritability, edginess, confusion, and such.
So, getting body work done, taking herbs that heal and alkalize, changing the diet to alkalizing foods, breathing deeply, meditating more, taking time to do things that are fun and relaxing, laughing, going out to watch the sunrise, getting fresh air, and consciously expanding the body by stretching, yoga, or martial arts can all help alkalize our bodies and thus our auras.
And if we tune into where our auras may be constricting, this is often accompanied to some degree by tight muscles there, and bones held close together, lymph congestion, and cramping. We can focus on pulling those areas apart, creating more space in between our bones, breathing into them, filling them with more oxygen.
We can also start by alkalizing our auras, such as by visualization in meditative states, imagining creating more space and glowing light in our bodies and the surrounding space in those areas we've found to be acidic. We don't need to over alkalize, just get them to the ideal state, which, as in the body, shows slightly more expansion than contraction, being slightly more base than acidic. Getting too alkaline can cause us to be too self-sacrificing,, too spacey, too boundariless, and more.
If we imagine or experience a situation that normally causes us to contract and acidify a particular part or the entire aura, we can work on holding the bones apart with the muscles connecting them, creating more space, not letting ourselves fall into the pattern of contraction. We can simultaneously expand our auras, not letting them curl in on themselves, but let energy flow through them outwards, flowing, relaxing, stopping the habit of contraction in reaction to predictable triggers.
We can imagine being able to do this more often when those situations would normally trigger us. This can help anchor that reaction in place. And the more we eat more alkalizing foods such as celery, which we can munch on through the day, breathe more deeply, and avoid acidifying substances such as coffee or soft drinks and sugar, the easier it will be to react in an alkaline manner to triggers.
People will react differently to us, because just as eating more celery makes us more alkaline, being around alkaline people's auras can make us more alkaline too. And it feels good. It feels bright and sunny, with an elevated mood, clearer thoughts, more motivation, more trust, more likelihood of play. And the more likely you are to win a job, a promotion, loan. People will smile more around you and invite you out more, feel more at ease, and bring out the best in themselves. Because they can no only read body language of more alkalinity, they can feel you're your aura, whether they know it or not.
It may be a little presumptive of me to talk in terms of chemistry when it comes to unknowable energies emanating from the body. But it can be helpful nonetheless to think of the aura in terms of PH balance. Just as our bodies tend to become too acid very easily, adding to most of the illness on this planet to a very significant degree, our moods and behaviors and thinking processes and relationships are also affected by our body's acidity, and this translates into how it affects our energy field, and that of people around us. We may begin our body's acidosis by what's going on in our aura. We may feel we can hide our bodily, or auric acid condition, but once we realize how it is visible, or sensible, in our auras, we may decide to make our lives, and the lives of people around us, more pleasant and expanded, relaxed, and functional, with more alkalizing specifics.
