How to Auto-Post Your Associated Content Articles to Facebook and Twitter

Finding Auto-Post Functionality with the New Associated Content Layout

Frazzled Mom
All the prior tutorials auto-posting links to Facebook and Twitter whenever you publish a new Associated Content article refer to the prior layout. Associated Content just released a brand-new look and functionality to the account and publishing setup, and while it has a lot going for it, some tools are now hard to find.

If you want to auto-post to Twitter now or change which Twitter account you post to, here is how to do it:

  • Log-in to Associated Content
  • Choose "Account Settings" from the second navigation menu
  • Choose the Auto-Post settings tab
  • Click "Add a Twitter Account"
  • Provide your Twitter user_name and password
  • Associated Content will verify your Twitter Account, and when it is verified, you can click the "Add" button.
It is possible to add multiple twitter accounts and to remove existing ones from this same page.

Facebook status update functionality can be added in the same way, by clicking the "Add a Facebook Account' in the same way.

Wordpress auto-post functionality also exists, but at the time of this writing it is under going some work. Once the functionality is up and running again it will also be found on the Auto-Post tab of the Account settings page.
