How to Avoid the Recession by Managing Finances

Robb Weigel
The Recession is Getting Worse--Here are some easy ways to lighten its impact on you if not avoid it entirely.

Step 1) Make sure you have 6 months to a year worth of savings. This is your rainy day fund. If you don't, bust your bottom right now working 3 to 4 jobs. Jobs will be more scarce a year from now than they are now so please take advantage of it right now Step 2) Get multiple jobs. This goes hand-in-hand with one. Reality check to everyone--the recession is getting worse. Obama, whether you like him or not, has no solidified plan in place....YET. Make as much money now while you can. Unemployment is on the rise on most states.

Step 3) Cut back on luxuries. Implement a bare bones budget--as much as possible--and be accountable to it.

Step 4) Diversify your sources of income, especially residual sources of income like ehow, bukisa, associated conent, helium, etc. Do not put all your eggs in one basket--not now.
